I'm attaching details of the Opéra de Versailles 2014/2015 season. As well as Philippe's September concerts with Nathalie Stutzmann (which mon1650 has already kindly posted), there's a lot of other good stuff - amongst other things, productions of Hasse's "Siroë" and Vinci's "Catone in Utica" which I think are worth seeing for their rarity value. Max is doing the "mise en scène" for "Siroë" so the costumes should be pretty exotic  prankster and several of "the boys" (but not Philippe) will be appearing in "Catone in Utica" ... the only problem is that none of this comes cheap - but you would be seeing baroque opera in an uniquely fitting setting ... cool girl

Temp,

The Wigmore concert is already SOLD OUT in all categories; luckily, BBC Radio 3 is easily accessible.

That was exactly my thought (Re: the concert being sold out and the easy access to the Radio3 programme). I’ll post the link to the programme near the time in a more obvious thread unless someone does it first.

I am very glad that Philippe is now focused on more contemplative music than acrobatic arias. I hope he will come back to A. Scarlatti’s Ombre tacite e sole and other cantatas.

Temp,

Sorry - me and my big mouth!  Laughing "Ombre tacite e sole" is one of my favourites too. And for a self-confessed atheist, Philippe is pretty unbeatable in the religious repertoire as well. After hearing Pergolesi's "Stabat Mater" at Versailles, I just wish he would record it with Valer - of course, it's never going to happen as they have both already recorded it with someone else ...
