Last Christmas, Arte TV broadcast the film “Lully l’Incommode” by Olivier Simonnet.
It’s a great documentary about Jean-Baptiste Lully that includes musigologists’ dissertations and performances by some of the best artists specialized in ancient repertory.
Among them, Philippe Jaroussky and L’Arpeggiata (on the second part of this video), performing Michel Lambert’s “Aux Plaisirs”.
